About WinFast PVR

Pressing the button pops up a box of manufacturer information. You may log on its website by clicking on the logo. Clicking on the box apart from the logo can dismiss it.

Channel Up/Down

Click to switch the channel up or down.

Channel Surf

Click to preview the channels. Click on the image to switch the channel you want to watch.

Configuration

Click to open the WinFast PVR setup dialog box with 4 tabs.

Exit WinFast PVR

Click to close the application.

FM Switch / EPG button

Click to switch to the FM radio mode.

In areas where EPG is applied, the EPG button will replace the FM switch. Click to link to EPG.

Input Source

Click to switch to a different video input source. Three types of input sources: TV, S-video and A/V.

Mute

Click to mute the audio.

Minimize

Click to harbor the control panel on the toolbar. Only the CH-, CH+ and Volume buttons remain visual on the bottom left corner of the virtual screen.

Open Media File

Click to open an explorer window for you to browse for the media file you wish to play. Double click on the file to play.

Record/Stop Recording

When no recording is in progress, click this button to record the current live TV broadcast. Click it again to stop the recording.

Recording Indicator

The ring surrounding the Record/Stop Recording button turns orange when recording is in progress.

Snapshot

Click to take a snapshot and save it as a .bmp (a .jpg file in Windows XP).

Time-Shifting

Click to run Time-Shifting.

Volume

Click on a level to change the volume, which is indicated by colors, ranging from blue (low) to red (high).
